Information My Computer Store may collect from our users

General
My Computer Store will never collect information without your expressed agreement and all information collected is completely voluntary. We will only collect this information (name, address, email address) which is needed to fulfill your needs when using our web sites and services. You have the right to refuse divulging information to My Computer Store, but certain services may not be attainable if you do not provide the necessary information.

User Memberships and Registration
Registration on our Web Store and Forums is mandatory for using our services. Without this information, we cannot ship any items to you, or allow you to post questions on our message boards. You may be able to access certain areas of our sites without signing up for our services, but will not have full access to the said sites.

When registering for our message boards, you will be asked to provide a username and password. Please do not use your real name, or another person's real name if you do not wish for anyone other than My Computer Store to see. The message boards are open to the public and other users would have access to your username on our forums, so please exercise discretion when using these services. Any personal information disclosed by you in public chat rooms or message boards may be subject to unwanted solicitation as other users may collect such information. My Computer Store is NOT responsible for any personal information you disclose in public areas of our web sites. (examples: posting your address or telephone number publicly) When you create a public profile on our web sites that may be available to other users,  you are solely responsible for its content and accuracy at ALL times. If you wish to change or delete any of this information, please consult our help section for instructions.

Email Newsletters and Promotions

You must have a user account to receive emails from My Computer Store. You may, at any time Unsubscribe from our emails and newsletters by clicking on the Unsubscribe Link at the bottom of each email.

Online Purchases

My Computer Store offers an online Computer and Computer Parts store. When making purchases, you may be asked to provide additional user information including, but not limited to, address, phone number, and any other information needed to fulfill your requests and ship your items. Your credit card number will also be needed when purchasing from our online store so that we may provide the best possible service you deserve. All billing information submitted to My Computer Store is submitted using a secure server so your information is safe and secure when ordering. Any billing issues or other concerns that are sent to support@mycomputerstore.com may require additional information so that we may take care of your needs and address your issues properly.

Non-Personal Information that we may collect from you

General, demographic, and non-personal information may be collected by My Computer Store. This information will not be linked to any other personal information in which you have provided. Some of our services may require information such as your entertainment preferences, purchasing habits, and the like. We gather this information so that we can continue to meet the needs of our customers and continue to provide the best possible service and support. We value your opinions.

My Computer Store may also automatically collect information such as your internet browser version, the name of your internet service provider, your "click-path" throughout our site, and the referring link which brought you to our web sites. All non-personal information such as these will remain anonymous, and will not be given to other entities. We may also check your account information and link to your past and current purchases, as well as other ordering information for My Computer Store use only.

My Computer Store takes every precaution to secure all data you submit to protect against breach, but no website or internet-based transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that hacking, unauthorized access, or user data loss will never occur. You are using My Computer Store and its sites at your own risk. My Computer Store recommends you keep all your passwords memorized and saved in a safe place, separate from your account information, logging out of your account at all times, and closing your internet browser when completed.

My Computer Store reserves the right to change this Policy at any time by notifying our registered users via e-mail of the changes or existence of a new Policy on the My Computer Store website. All changes to the Policy will be effective when posted, and any continued use of our services will constitute your acceptance and you will be bound by the agreement.
